Our summer has been a swimming blitz! These kids have been in a pool at least 4 days a week. We figured since we would be around all summer why not get the kids swimming? Sergio went from a beginner to an almost full-fledged swimmer. His back stroke is awesome, he can dive down in almost 5 feet of water to get his "torqueedos" (torpeedo diving toys), swim 12+ meters in 4 feet of water alone, and earned his right to go down the twisty slide and swim to the edge solo!! Olivia is a little fish too! She has no fear. Twice she jumped into 4 feet of water thinking she can swim. She has an emerging doggy paddle and loves to go under the water. When I get to swim with the kids sans a baby, it is such a joy (and a lot of work too)!!! :)
