Whew! We are packed! Heading north for some NaNa & PaPa time, snow?!, and a family get-a-way! We are so so so excited.:)
This will be our last night in Texas for the year 2009. We have had a fantastic year! Joe has done a stellar job with work, as always, thanks to God. It seems with every passing year he becomes a better lawyer, better husband, and better father. I have really started to love being a stay at home mom. I always liked it, but took my job for granted. Not now, not again. Sergio has grown up so much. He is talking very well, still is passionate about his cars (fast cars), enjoyed playing soccer, and enjoyed his Dad as the coach even more. He goes to a Mother's Day Out program, similar to preschool, and loves it! He loves playing with friends and frequently asks to go to other kids houses....uninvited.:) Just when I think I have him spelling out his first word, he goes "O-H-I- .....Texas!" He is a hoot! Olivia is cruising along into toddlerhood. She is just the sweetest, and polite, little pea ever! She says "thank you" all the time, unprompted, "please", prompted, and "no".:) Her vocabulary and language skills are starting to progress, finally! She loves her babies, choo choos, and books. Joe and I often find her at the kids' table quietly leafing through books...studying at 19 months? Oh, and two nights ago she went pee in the potty for the first time!
Here are some pictures of Santa's generosity...
