Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010!

As our two-thousand and nine year wrapped up in Ohio, we are so grateful to a new year of hope and promise for continued happiness and blessings. But first, to highlight my favorite memories of our magical stay at NaNa & PaPa's house...it goes something like this...two airplane rides with two perfectly behaved children, arriving with two sick kids (for one week i may add) and leaving well, except PaPa caught their nasty cold:( (sorry Dad!), celebrating Christmas with gifts (thank you again to Uncle D, the best brother ever who gave us the most perfect little camera ever!) and a wonderful meal made by my fantastic Mom, bowling with Derek and Joe, two trips to the art museum with one visit leading to the kids being local celebrities (www.13abc.com, click on newsreel, click on january 5, enjoy!), two trips to Imagination Station, Sergio's first movie with PaPa (The Princess and the Frog), lots of dates/walks for Joe and I, lots of shopping for me, lots of time in the basement watching football and playing marbles, seeing the kids so happy with their grandparents/toys/basement/snow, the best pumpkin pie I have ever had (by Meijer), daily explorations outside in the white fluffy stuff, and sledding at home and at the kiddie hill.
