Spring time at NaNa and PaPa's

The spring weather from the south has followed us north. We have been able to enjoy at least three days in the 60s! It has been so nice for the kids to be outside running in the front & back yard, gazeebo area, riding the vehicles, playing football, soccer, basketball, on neighbors swing sets, parks, 577 Foundation (with cousin Basam), going out for Mel-O-Creme, and even getting to watch some spring rain/thunderstorm. The trees are budding, grass and fields greening up, violets popping up, and snow piles melting away.

Uncle D was able to come home this weekend too and the children can't get enough of him!! Here are some requests/comments: "I want Uncle D to strap me in/put on my socks/put on my shoes/read me a book/sit by me" & "When is Uncle D going to be up, he is taking a very long time sleeping?!".

The kids have had a blast and a half!! (and oh so well behaved!) One favorite memory came after Sergio and my Dad were looking up the top ten list of the most expensive cars in the world. #1 was a Bugatti that cost just 1.2 million dollars. The next day Sergio was taking to Daddy on the phone and said "Daddy, can you get a new Bugatti and put a car seat in it for me?" He also asked Joe if he could buy Mommy one too!:) I guess the Honda isn't quite his style. At least he has a taste for fine ITALIAN cars!!:)

Here is some pics of our trip home. Don't be fooled by Olivia's jacket, it wasn't cold enough to be so bundled up, just further evidence of her passion for blue and hoods!!:)
