stone soup

my dear friend kathleen hosted a stone soup playdate. it went off perfectly! the kids all (well, not all the kids) participated by throwing the soup ingredients into the pot symbolizing sharing of food and a meal. olivia contributed herbs and celery. she liked helping make the soup. sergio, on the other hand, had better things to do like play trains with baby Marc. i don't know if i will ever be able to just call him Marc--he is just too cute. i need to come up with ideas like these as summer is approaching and i don't have anything planned for these kids to do??!! yikes!!!!!!!!
