egg huntS

Kids today seem a bit spoiled. I try to keep it to a minimum and feel like even the less priviledged spoil their kids more than we do. I don't remember ever eating candy out of plastic Easter eggs. In our house we just had those plastic eggs hanging from our front yard trees as decorations. We hunted for eggs on Easter morning, but they were the real eggs colored by food coloring. Well, my kids had back to back Easter egg hunts. One yesterday with our HOA. THE Easter bunny made an appearance and guess what? I couldn't find my camera. The mind of a pregnant women is not such a good thing... forget cameras, forget about laundry in the washing machine (a favorite one of Joe's!), etc.. Missed the pics of the kids with THE bunny and their neighborhood friends. It was a fun event and so nice of our HOA. Next year I need to be more involved so Sergio can actually eat some of the candy in the eggs. The next hunt was today. My sweet friend Kathleen put together an egg hunt for her son's preschool class and included us-so nice! The kids had a grand time and are napping right now due to all the fun!:) Sergio was able to eat some of the candy too which was an added bonus!:) Another added bonus: I found my camera!:)
