Little Slugger
Sergio started his little league experience this Spring. He is on a team called the Giants and coached by Joe. So far he has really enjoyed it. It is T-ball to be exact, but more like developmental T-ball. There isn't any score or outs. I love seeing Sergio run base to base with a big smile on his face. He guns it for any ball and is trying so hard to be the first to catch it. I was worried at first that this sport wouldn't tap into his competitive nature enough, but my fears were relieved when he cried last game because he wasn't first to catch a ball. His pants are already grass and red dirt stained. He has already mastered sliding. I wonder how long it will take until he make a hole in this baseball pants?:) He told Joe last weekend that he is the "best Dad and coach ever". What a wonderful, unsolicited, gift Joe got!
